How should we judge the love affair between Francesca and Robert Kincaid?
If I read this story before I go down the threshold of marriage and still fancied love can endure time, I would never open this book, which is marked as an extramarital love. We always condemn the unfaithful actions in marriage, so before I began to read this story, I still hold doubts in my choice. But this story didn’t fail me!
I see how they fall in love at the first sight; I see how they get struck by the feeling of “flipped”; I see how they struggle to restrain their feeling into the rule of society; I see how they dance, kiss and have each other in a natural but emotional way. Yes, I am happy for their union, because I was convicted that they were soul mate ---- perfectly matched and heavenly enjoyed.
Let me quote some words touched me deeply.

Toward morning, he raised himself slightly and said, looking straight into her eyes, “This is why Im here on this planet, at this time, Francesca. Not to travel or make pictures, but to love you. I know that now. I have been falling from the rim of a great, high place, somewhere back in time, for many more years than I have lived in this life. And through all of those years, I have been falling toward you.”
At last! At last!
They met, but too late.
They only have each other for four days, which craved mark into their heart permanently.
Francesca chose responsibly, while Robert Kincaid chose respect.
“Before you, I have a couple of women, but after you, none.” as Robert Kincaid wrote in his letter.
i shed tears on Roberts departure, because i know they would never meet each other again.
