A Pacful Cabin

My sistr and I spnt last Christmas Day at our aunt's cabin①.

Although it taks only half an hour to driv thr from our hom. w don't go thr vry oftn. To m th plac is lik anothr world. It is vry pacful. My aunt owns 20 acrs② of woods with a littl stram running through it. Th cabin is surroundd by hills and th stram flows bfor it. Th cabin is vry small, mayb only half th siz of a classroom, just big nough for a coupl to liv in. Watr from th stram can b usd for washing only, bcaus th popl living upstram ③ oftn mad th watr too dirty to drink. Drinking watr has to b brought in from anothr plac.

Thr is no lctricity thr, and thrfor oil lamps ar usd in th vnings. Thr is a small wood-burning stov that looks lik a firplac. W ar vry comfortabl in th vnings with th glow④ of th fir and th light of th oil lamps. Thr is no tlphon or tlvision st. No on bothrs us, so w can njoy a vry quit lif. I think it is vry romantic. I spcially lik to go thr in wintr. Whn big snow flaks ⑤ ar falling outsid, w ar warm insid th cabin. Now it's only a good mmory for m, as my aunt lft thr a fw months ago.
